The Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO) has announced an exclusive live session, “Practical Strategies for Optimizing Outcomes in MDS and AML,” to be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, ahead of the SOHO 2026 Annual Meeting. The session will begin at 3 pm and will be chaired by Guillermo Garcia-Manero, MD, of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Registration is now open.
Designed as a case-based, interactive program, the session will provide practical strategies and clinical insights to help clinicians integrate the latest advances in the management of myelodysplastic syndromes and acute myeloid leukemia into everyday practice. The session will feature Sangeetha Venugopal, MD, MS, of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center; Rami S. Komrokji, MD, of H.
