Dr. Manson describes the cross-specialty team that provides input both in-hospital at UCLH and through a national advisory panel for patients across the UK.
Dr. Manson covers the importance of treating the underlying driver of HLH to prevent recurrence and improve patient outcomes. She also highlights resources such as the “Getting It Right First Time” (GIRFT) guidelines, the national NHS England program designed to improve the treatment and care of patients.
