In this SOHO Insider interview from EHA 2026, Doris Ponce, MD, associate professor of medicine and lead of the Graft-versus-Host Disease Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, discusses a secondary analysis of the phase 2 AGAVE-201 trial evaluating axatilimab in patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease.
Dr. Ponce reviews bone health outcomes associated with axatilimab, a high-affinity anti-CSF-1R monoclonal antibody, including changes in bone turnover markers, treatment-emergent bone-related adverse events, and fracture rates in a population in which many patients were receiving concomitant corticosteroids.
