Naveen Pemmaraju, MD, of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, discusses initial results from the phase 2 RESTORE-PV trial evaluating DISC-3405 in patients with polycythemia vera (PV).
The results were reported at the Fourteenth Annual Meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (#SOHO2026) held September 9 to 12 in Houston, Texas.
DISC-3405 is an investigational monoclonal antibody targeting TMPRSS6 designed to modulate the hepcidin pathway and reduce the need for phlebotomy. Dr. Pemmaraju discusses the early efficacy and safety findings and what they could mean for the future treatment of PV.
