Fedratinib demonstrates favorable OS in MDS/MPN overlap syndrome

Andrew Kuykendall, MD, an associate member from Moffitt Cancer Center, discusses final analysis data from a phase 2 study that evaluated fedratinib in myelodysplastic syndromes/myeloproliferative neoplasms overlap syndrome. The therapy has also been evlauated in and chronic neutrophilic leukemia.

The endpoints of the investigator-initiated trial  include progression-free survival, overall survival, and duration of response.

The results showed a 30% spleen response rate and a 47% symptom response rate among evaluable patients. Overall survival reached around 37 months, according to the 2026 ASCO abstract.
