Global KMT2A MRD testing launched for AML,ALL

LabPMM, an Invivoscribe subsidiary, announced the launch of a global KMT2A measurable residual disease (MRD) testing service for healthcare providers, researchers, and biopharmaceutical partners, according to a press release from the company.

The digital PCR service expands molecular monitoring for acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia, with CAP/CLIA-accredited testing available in the United States.

The standardized assay targets common KMT2A partner fusion genes to support disease characterization and longitudinal monitoring in menin inhibitor clinical trials. The test reports quantitative results relative to a housekeeping gene, achieving sensitivity down to 0.005% with turnaround times as fast as 48 hours, according to the company.

“By making KMT2A MRD testing available through LabPMM, we are helping clinicians and biopharmaceutical partners measure meaningful responses earlier, monitor their durability, and ultimately improve patient care,” said Jeff Miller, CEO and CSO of Invivoscribe.
