The promise of CELMoDs in myeloma treatment

In this final video segment from the multiple myeloma roundtable on CELMoDs, the panel discusses the clinical promise of  CELMoDs in myeloma treatment, including the single-agent activity, manageable toxicity, and the combination potential of mezigdomide.

The panel was moderated by Paul G. Richardson, MD, clinical director of the Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, who speaks with Meletios A. Dimopoulos, MD, professor and chairman of the department of clinical therapeutics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Medicine, Rahul Banerjee, MD, FACP, assistant professor in the clinical research division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and Prof. Katja Weisel, deputy head of oncology, hematology and bone marrow transplantation at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.

The speakers highlighted how combining these powerful drugs into fixed-duration regimens could help patients achieve long-term remissions and move closer to a cure. They also mapped out how CELMoDs can act as the ideal treatment partner with bispecific antibodies and CAR T-cell therapies.
