How to sequence mezigdomide-based therapy in myeloma?

In this multiple myeloma roundtable from EHA 2026, the roundtable panelists evaluate the strategic sequencing of mezigdomide-based therapy, its potential as a bridging strategy, and its practical logistical advantages in community-based practices compared to T-cell redirecting therapies.

The panel was moderated by Paul G. Richardson, MD, clinical director of the Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, who speaks with Meletios A. Dimopoulos, MD, professor and chairman of the department of clinical therapeutics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Medicine, Rahul Banerjee, MD, FACP, assistant professor in the clinical research division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and Prof. Katja Weisel, deputy head of oncology, hematology and bone marrow transplantation at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.

They evaluate positioning this regimen in the second-line setting, allowing community oncologists to leverage familiar side-effect management while avoiding the complex opportunistic infections linked to bispecific antibodies.
