SOHO Brazil, also known as Sintoma, welcomed nearly 1,000 attendees this year. Phillip Scheinberg, MD, PhD, led the meeting and brought together hematology experts from across Brazil and beyond. Dr. Scheinberg is a past president of SOHO and has served as a SOHO Ambassador since 2018. The program featured advances in hematologic oncology and provided opportunities for education, collaboration, and professional networking.
Held annually in São Paulo, SOHO Brazil is part of the SOHO Ambassador Program, which supports regional meetings around the world to expand education in hematologic oncology.
“These regional SOHO meetings have added a lot of value to physicians and hematologists all over the world, which is one of the major missions of SOHO,” Dr. Scheinberg told SOHO Insider in an interview last year.
