In this video from the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting, Dr. Mascarenhas, a Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, discusses results from the phase 3 SENTRY trial. The trial is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 60 mg selinexor in combination with ruxolitinib versus placebo plus ruxolitinib in patients with JAK inhibitor–naïve myelofibrosis.
This combination shrank spleen volume by 35% or more at week 24 significantly better than ruxolitinib alone, while the trial continues to evaluate its other co-primary endpoint of total symptom score reduction.
The SENTRY results were published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
